The contract asks
The question, the model, the kind of answer, the tools, the fee and the deadline, hashed into a spec the nodes must answer exactly.
A smart contract asks. Independent nodes answer through Orbio, and the answer settles on-chain.
From the question to the quorum: what a contract asks, how it pays through Orbio's market, and how three nodes agree on the answer.
Orbio gives one key to every model and sells inference as CREDIT on its order book. That is what an oracle needs: a way to pay for the answer, and a model to give it.
The fee is CREDIT. Pay in USDG and the oracle buys it on Orbio's order book in the same transaction, below CREDIT's dollar of usage.
A request names any chat model in Orbio's catalogue and the tools it may use: web search and scrape, X, chain reads. The nodes run exactly that.
The voters on the winning answer split the fee in CREDIT, the same currency that pays for their inference on Orbio.
Or pay in USDG and let the oracle buy the CREDIT on Orbio's book. Either way, the nodes are paid in CREDIT.
What was asked is fixed on-chain, what each node did rides in its vote, and what settles is what two of them agree on.

Each node runs the named model through Orbio's gateway, with the tools the request allows and the budget its fee pays for.
A vote carries the node's whole transcript in its calldata, and the transcript's keccak256 as the vote's hash.
The first answer two nodes agree on settles. Its voters split the fee and the contract is called back; if none does in time, the fee goes back.
An example, played in your browser: a question types itself, three nodes work on it and vote, and the first answer with two votes settles.
Every answer the oracle has given, read from the chain as you look at it.
Inference for a typical answer: the question and some evidence in (2k tokens), a short verdict out (300), at list price and through Orbio. You save —.
Inherit AIConsumer, ask, and handle the answer. Or ask from a wallet, or run a node of your own.
contract Market is AIConsumer { function resolve() external { _askAI(IAIOracle.RequestParams({ model: "anthropic/claude-sonnet-4.5", prompt: "Did NVDA close above $200 on 2026-09-30?", kind: AnswerKind.Bool, choices: new string[](0), tools: TOOL_WEB_SEARCH, fee: 1e6, timeout: 30 minutes, callbackGasLimit: 150_000 })); } function _onAIResult(uint256 id, bool ok, uint256 answer) internal override { // ok: answer is 1 (yes) or 0 (no). !ok: nobody settled it in time, the fee is back. } }

# node/.env: the wallet's signature is its Orbio key, so what it earns pays for what it answers.

What it is, who answers, what it costs, and what you are trusting.
An oracle that lets smart contracts on Robinhood Chain ask an AI model a question and get a typed answer back on-chain, settled by a quorum of independent nodes.
Registered nodes. Each runs the model the contract named, through Orbio's gateway, with the tools the request allows (web search and scrape, X, chain reads), and votes.
The first answer to collect the quorum's votes settles the request in the same transaction. Its voters split the fee and the contract is called back.
Whatever fee you offer, at least the oracle's minimum. Pay in CREDIT, or in USDG that the oracle buys on Orbio's order book, below CREDIT's dollar of usage.
Nothing settles until one answer reaches the quorum. If none does in time, anyone can expire the request and the fee goes back to the requester.
Yes. Every vote carries the node's whole transcript in its calldata, and its keccak256 as the vote's hash. The request page reads it from the chain and hashes it in your browser.
No. Orbacle is an independent project built on Orbio's public contracts and gateway. It is not run by or affiliated with Orbio.
Not yet. The contracts are tested on mocks and against Orbio's live contracts on a fork, and run on Robinhood Chain. Nodes are permissioned in this first version.
A typed answer from an AI model, agreed by independent nodes, settled where your contract can read it.
